The Mother and Baby Wellness Center is a community outreach for mothers, mothers-to-be, Immigrants and women in general who are either in crisis or have a need or desire to better themselves through the services we provide. Those services include GED, ESL, Computer training, Literacy, pre and post natal issues, counseling, job preparedness, vocational training, permanent housing placement, benefits screening and workshops given by nurses and others covering all areas of need such as: proper infant care and safety, nutrition, breastfeeding, inoculations etc. In addition special programs that reach both mothers and fathers such as Kindermusik are also offered. All our services are free of charge.

The Mother and Baby Wellness Center in the Bronx provides most of the same services that are available in the Brooklyn Center. The kindermusik is not currently available in the Bronx.

Services like those at right are available to you through The Mother & Baby Wellness Center and Rachel’s Joy Maternity Home, which is a part of ACTS Community Development Corporation.
