The 9th ANNUAL FUND RAISER DINNER
We want to thank all those who attended our 9th annual fundraiser on Nov 8th. There were 11 pastors in attendance as well as bankers, lawyers and businessmen. Our special guest Pastor Jason Alvarez was simply "awesome" as he led in worship and shared a word. We were greatly encouraged by all who attended and were blessed by their continued support, without which we could not do what we do!
PASTOR JASON ALVAREZ We are very pleased to announce that worship leader, international speaker and pastor, Jason Alvarez Sr. will be ministering to us at the upcoming ninth annual Rachel's Joy Fundraiser dinner. Pastor Alvarez is the presiding apostle and pastor of the Love of Jesus Family Church and Ministries, a thriving multicultural congregation of over two thousand members. We hope you can join us for a time of refreshing and fellowship on Monday, November 30, 2009, 7PM at Gargiulo's Restaurant located at 2911 West 15th Street, Coney Island in Brooklyn.

Pastor Jason Alvarez Sr. is the presiding apostle and pastor of The Love of Jesus Family Church and Ministries, a thriving multicultural congregation of over two thousand members. Pastor Jason’s ministry officially began over twenty years ago when he traveled extensively with R.W. Schambach, preaching day meetings and leading worship at night. Pastor Jason Alvarez was ordained to the ministry on February 20, 1982. Since then, many works and ministries have been raised up all over the East Coast, he has traveled extensively ministering through-out Latin America and Europe where he has been mightily used as a pioneer to share on the revelation of Praise and Worship. The Love of Jesus Ministries is heavily involved in Missions work through out all of India, Central Africa, France, Latin America and recently Guatemala and Cuba. We have also built a 24-track state of the arts recording studio, where over 70 albums have been produced and released worldwide. Presently our weekly TV Program “Love of Jesus” is literally reaching millions for the glory of God, and we give Him all the Praise.
Pastor Jason minister’s under a tremendous apostolic and pastoral mantle, which he attributes to his extensive time spent in prayer and bible study, his other roles include, husband and father, overseer of many works, song writer, producer, artist, founder of The Love of Jesus Family Center located in the Catskill Mountains of NY, where he administrates a 70 acre Christian resort, and hundreds of churches come to be refreshed and uplifted by the power of God each year. His music has already been reproduced in over ten different languages around the world.
Pastor Alvarez is absolutely content to just walk with God, and serve God’s people.

The Mother and Baby Wellness Center will offer a musical learning program for families with children ages newborn and up—Family Time. The new curriculum, created by Kindermusik, is designed to apply musical and developmental learning in a multi-age, multi-child, family environment. “This is a great way for parents with children of various ages to spend time together, doing one activity as a family, “The little ones watch the older ones, and learn from them.” The Family Time class will be one hour of musical fun and learning, with instruments, manipulatives, singing and lots of movement.
